These terms apply to your use of this website and to services provided by Go2Guy ("we", "us") in Gauteng, South Africa. They are drafted with regard to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA). Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the CPA.

1. Our services

We provide solar panel cleaning, gutter cleaning, bird proofing and related maintenance for residential and commercial properties.

2. Quotes and bookings

  • Quotes are free, given in South African Rand (ZAR) and valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
  • A booking is confirmed once we accept it in writing (including by email or WhatsApp).
  • The 10% first-booking discount applies once per new customer and cannot be combined with other offers.

3. Cancellations

You may cancel or reschedule a booking by giving us at least 24 hours' notice. In line with section 17 of the CPA, we may charge a reasonable cancellation fee for late cancellations. Where a service was booked through this website, ECTA's cooling-off rights apply where relevant.

4. Access and safety

You agree to give us safe access to the property, roof and water supply, and to tell us about any known hazards, damage or fragile roofing. We may postpone work due to unsafe weather or conditions.

5. Payment

Payment is due on completion unless agreed otherwise. Invoices are payable in ZAR by EFT or another method we agree.

6. Quality and complaints

Under section 54 of the CPA you are entitled to services performed in a timely manner and with the quality generally expected. If you are unhappy, contact us within 7 days and we will re-attend or provide a fair remedy.

7. Liability

We take reasonable care when working on your property. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or loss not caused by our negligence, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing limits liability for gross negligence or that cannot be excluded under the CPA.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
